Technology and Round-Trip Engineering
Five phases: Discover, Design, Analyse, Engineer, Manage

Adaptive Arts helps to translate business processes seamlessly into a specification of IT systems. The Technology Modeler can be used to generate code, to identify third-party applications, the applicability of Adaptive Arts Business Components or a hybrid approach.

Software developers find a wealth of sophisticated modeling, programming, translation and conversion tools in the underlying Adaptive Arts Modeling Technology.

The Technology Modeler distills from the Adaptive Arts Modeler those processes that will become automated software based processes. It then outputs systems specifications in terms familiar to IT systems professionals. This allows the final business system to match exactly the model specified by the business professional.

The Modeler offers round-trip engineering of computer source code and application interfaces. Information Architecture models can be developed in association with the organisational view with the end result being that a design produced by the business managers is precisely represented in the working system.

Adaptive Arts recognises that your organisation will have existing systems which need to be considered along with additional requirements for new functionality. The existing IT systems can be easily related to your organisations' structure by using the process-modeling layer. Adaptive Arts' adherence to the Extensible Mark-up Language (“XML”) allows ready integration with legacy systems.

The Modeler is product and technology neutral. In other words it may be used to define objects for implementations such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN etc. Additionally, if going the web services path, .NET or Java are fully supported. This allows the generation of custom applications, the incorporation of Adaptive Arts Business Components and the integration with packaged applications.
